Baby Ball

Below are the first photos of Baby Ball, following the scan today. 17 weeks old. Could this get any more exciting !

OK, so I know that everytime I looked at someone else's scan I didn't have a clue what I was looking at - I'm a bloke after all...!

So, here's the skinny ... below is the classic three quarter pose, head on the right, big tum on the left with an arm coming down the side of it's body (towards the bottom) ... 1/30th at F2.8, IS0 1600 ... Wow, it was dark.

... and now one of Baby Ball upside down, nicely shot, full frame, with it's head on the right. There wasn't time to explain the "Rule of Thirds", it was all happening pretty quickly ... 1/60th at F2.8, IS0 1600 ... little bit less camera shake this time ...

157 days of peace and quiet ... 157 days of sleeping all night ... checking in for all the sleep I can get.

Lincoln Driver Training

Had a great evening developing a new website with a friend. Shanners has recently qualified as a Driving instructor. He's really fired up and can't wait to get teaching - he's going to be a really great instructor, I wish he'd taught me to drive. I can't wait to hear that his first student has passed their test.

Anyway, check out his new website...
... where we have loads more images of his car which we have photoshop'ed with his new logo.

I just have to be the first to give him some free advertising.

First Post

My first post to tell everyone linking across from my professional website that my personal site has not disappeared, you can access it at http://www.chrisballphotographer.com/, this is where most of the travel photos are stored.

It also gives me a chance to share this picture of a humpback whale breaching ... which I shot (in the photographic sense ... I'm no Japanese Research Whaler!) near Frazer Island in Australia.
